In this case, we have worked closely with City Health Care Partnership for a number of years to develop and deliver new ways of delivering high quality community care in Hull and East Yorkshire.
When the pandemic hit the UK, we already had a strong partnership in place which enabled us to respond quickly and effectively to COVID-19 restrictions and roll out additional services to protect patients and healthcare professionals.
These included an automated symptom checker for the daily screening of thousands of people for signs of coronavirus before their routine outpatient appointments, helping to ensure continuity of care for people living with long-term conditions.
