This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 (Opens in a new window.) AA standard, due to the non-compliances listed below.
Following an external review in December 2020, Inhealthcare tested all pages in the Inhealthcare Patient Portal, and Login with Inhealthcare services in January 2021. Most issues found were fixed.
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.
Not compliant with the accessibility regulations
- Date pickers are not available to or usable by screen readers. The elements are not keyboard operable. You can still enter dates using the text field.
- Tooltips are not available to or usable by screen readers. We plan to fix these by the end of 2021.
- Radio buttons are not grouped correctly when using Windows Narrator screen reader. We plan to fix these by the end of 2021.
- Numeric sliders are not available to or usable by some screen readers. The elements are not keyboard all operable. You can still enter the value using the number field.
- Some of our online forms may not be compliant due to the use of third party content, however they would conform to WCAG 2.0 at level AA if the third party content was removed.
- Some of our online forms are difficult to navigate using just a keyboard because they contain progressive disclosure.
- Some of our online forms are protected by a visible reCAPTCHA which is not fully accessible.
Not fully covered by the accessibility regulations
- Some PDFs in the My Documents section of the Patient Portal may not be compliant as they are provided by third party authors.
Preparation of this accessibility statement
This statement was prepared on 20-Jan-2021. It was last reviewed on 04-Feb-2021.
The testing strategy included:
- Automated checking using axe-core of all WCAG 2.0 Level A & AA Rules, WCAG 2.1 Level A & AA Rules, and Best Practices Rules as defined in the AXE Core Rule Descriptions (Opens in a new window.).
- Manual reviewing of all screens at 100% and 400%.
- Manual reviewing using WAVE Accessibility Tool, AXE browser extension, and the Siteimprove browser extension.
- Screen reader testing using the latest NVDA with Firefox, JAWS with Chrome, Narrator with Edge, and VoiceOver with Safari.
