Inhealthcare is delighted to announce the appointment of Abigail Uttley as project manager, strengthening our implementation capabilities as we scale proven digital health services across NHS partners.

Abi brings more than 10 years of service and programme management experience in healthcare and digital sectors. Most recently, she served as service manager for the remote monitoring virtual ward at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, where she led the service from concept to award-winning implementation with 14 live clinical pathways across multiple specialties. The partnership with Inhealthcare by ResMed secured a prestigious HSJ Award for “best provider of digital healthcare services”. In its first year of operation, the virtual ward service treated more than 500 patients, saving more than 3,000 hospital bed days and achieving efficiency savings of £1.13 million, according to the trust.

“I’m excited to bring my experience to Inhealthcare by ResMed at this stage of growth,” says Abi. “Having seen firsthand how digital health services can transform patient care, I’m passionate about producing products that really make a difference to patients and delivering services of the highest quality.”

In her new role, Abi will manage end-to-end project delivery across services including respiratory care, sleep health, cardiovascular conditions, frailty, heart failure, rheumatology, and virtual wards. She will establish scalable processes and robust governance frameworks while working closely with customer success manager Amy Frith to enhance the experience for NHS partners.

Her approach centres on patient outcomes and clear communication, bringing robust processes that support clinical teams—all informed by real-world NHS service delivery experience.

“The patient is at the centre of everything we do,” Abi adds. “It’s about making sure that patient journey is as good as it can possibly be, while giving clinical teams the confidence and tools they need to deliver outstanding care.”

Outside of work, Abi enjoys travelling with friends and family, works out at the gym most days, and is the proud owner of a French Bulldog.
