Last week, the Inhealthcare team was delighted to exhibit at NHS ConfedExpo in Manchester—an event packed with over 5,000 healthcare leaders, inspiring keynotes, panel sessions, and cutting-edge innovation showcases. The event delivered a truly vibrant atmosphere—a real buzz of collaboration, shared energy, and forward-thinking ideas.

Health Secretary Wes Streeting delivered a powerful keynote, warning that the NHS is “fighting for its life” and that investment alone will not be enough to secure its future. He welcomed the £29 billion funding settlement but stressed the need for bold reform—especially through digital transformation, with £10 billion ringfenced to bring the NHS into the digital age.

Streeting previewed the Government’s upcoming 10-Year Health Plan, which will shift care from hospitals to the community, from analogue to digital, and from treatment to prevention. He outlined plans to empower local care systems, tackle health inequalities and tie funding to health outcomes—not just activity. The message was clear: reform, accountability, and innovation will be central to building a modern, patient-focused NHS.

We were thrilled to meet so many leaders passionate about virtual wards, remote patient monitoring, and digital transformation. The energy, ideas, and innovations shared at ConfedExpo have us more determined than ever to support a modern, equitable, tech-enabled NHS.

If we connected with you at the event and you’d like to continue the conversation—about scaling virtual wards, embedding remote monitoring, or advancing digital adoption—please reach out. Let’s build on the momentum together.
