Our servers are stored within the secure AWS London region. The hosting environment is used by NHS Digital to host many of their national systems.
The Inhealthcare system is operated across multiple availability zones within the AWS London region. Amazon operates state-of-the-art, highly-available data centres. Although rare, with any computerised system, failures can occur that affect the availability of instances that are in the same location. By operating the Inhealthcare system across multiple availability zones within the same region there is redundancy in the event that there is a failure affecting a specific availability zone.
